hey everyboby 1st of all i would like to say what a day today is! its so sunny and hot its lovely the only problem is im stuck in my flat as my father is ill he normally comes and helps me down the stair to get me out of the flat but i cant ask him to come and get me out of this flat when his ill himself get better soon daddy.  on saturday i did my 1st ever workshop by myself, well not actually by myself i knew the lady who was holding the work shop, It was a STAMPIN UP workshop, it was in my local town and i was happy with what i learnt i now have booked 3 more dates with her so im looking forward to the next one on the 18th august, we learnt how to make a simple pop up card (i say simple, i still think there was alot to remember) here is what my pop up card looked like |

Hey Everybody today was my 1ST ever session doing a workshop ever, ive never done one before and I decided to choice my local Stampin Up Workshop Loraine Arderne(click on her name for her Facebook page) We made two lovely cards One i found i'd never get to make which is a smiple pop up card and i tell you something this has to the nicest way of doing a pop up card ( i will be defo making more of these style cards again) the second one was a relaxing painting card and Loraine has opened up my eye to drying embossing and painting the dried embossed area i would of never thought of doing this and i will be trying this out later on a thank you card. |

Hey Everyone hope you had a great weekend? This weekend has been busy but managed to have some me time in my craft area. This weekend i had a panic attack i thought my heat gun was broken, i've only owned my heat gun for 3 months now and when it stopped watching i went to look for my receipt, but what little did i know heat guns, when they get hot they have a cut off, what a dum nut i am lol.
Anyway back to the makes 1st of all, i made a lovely note/ design pad for my sister, She needed a cheer me up gift and as i have no money at the moment, i knew i had too make her something and also gave me the excuss to craft, which i don't need any excuss to get in my craft area. |

My Magnolia Fathers day Card which i have made for a customer. I love this Edwin stamp and its works well with the distress inks which i used to make it look a bit vintage.
Sorry its only a short blog this week but i promise you next weeks with be a big one as i've just finished photographing the step by step magnolia tilda/ edwin colouring in

 Hey Socksgirl Fans Today is Friday 1st June 2012
Today I'm entering the JUST MAGNOLIA Challenge 159 Anything goes with a doily. Also ive entered Bunny Zoes Crafts -Anything goes too.
This is my 1st ever Entry and really hope people enjoy it. I made it for a friend, and she was giving it as a gift for somebodies ruby wedding anniversary.
The basic of the card is that I coloured the magnolia stamps with pencils and pro makers. All my Facebook fans keep asking me how i colour in the stamps and what i use, so over the next month i will show you by blogging on here so watch this space kiddo's. |

 Hi everybody today is Friday 1st June 2012
Sorry I've not written a blog, lately ive had loads to deal with, with my illness but on a likelier note I'm on holiday tomorrow which is ace.
I thought I would take the time to show you one of my favourite cards I made this year so far.
I made this for my sister in-laws birthday and it took me a few hours to complete with doing other stuff in between.
The paper and stamp I used were free from a magazine which made it a really cheap card to make, which unlike my other style of cards they are really expensive to make so this was a lovely change in my style of cards. |

 Today i randomly picked a winner for the socksgirl give away, it went to Rachel Holden Who has brought off me in the past and left a great comment and shared the image on her network space. She is the winner of this small sock cat which is one of the cuties cats i have made
